More than 700 happy neighbors and guests gathered on Saturday, May 24, to celebrate the eagerly awaited grand opening of the community’s Phase 1 Amenity Center (help us name it!). The milestone moment was the perfect kickoff to summer at EverBe summer in Orlando, where the fun and festivities offered something for everyone.
Blue skies and hundreds of colorful balloons greeted guests, setting the tone for an amazing summer bash in EverBe style. And that excitement never stopped! The celebration of community and connection was a smashing success, with guests enjoying delicious treats and family-friendly activities throughout the day.
The event’s main attraction on this sunny Saturday was the refreshing zero-entry pool. Guests dipped into the inviting, crystal-clear waters. A poolside DJ enhanced the EverBe vacation vibe, which proved irresistible to both the young and the young at heart. Whether dancing, playing games, splashing around, or relaxing in the cabanas, the resort-style pool was definitely the place to be on this gorgeous Orlando afternoon!
As guests explored the new Amenity Center, they found plenty to love, and it was just a hint of what’s to come. EverBe recently revealed plans for the Main Amenity Center, which will include an even larger aquatic oasis with a resort-style pool, lap lanes, splash pad, and poolside bar. There will also be a pickleball party pavilion, an expansive fitness center, indoor/outdoor play zones, a dedicated food truck alley, a coffee lounge, and more.
Guests also enjoyed mouthwatering selections from local food trucks. Those who worked up an appetite in the pool enjoyed delicious bowls, tacos, and other savory bites, while those wanting something lighter cooled off with creamy smoothies bursting with flavor. With Florida’s sunshine at its finest, the ice cream trucks were hands-down the biggest treat!
Neighbors who attended the grand opening were treated to an array of festive, themed goodies that captured the spirited fun of the celebration. Interactive bubble experiment stations delighted children and adults alike, creating magical moments as shimmering bubbles floated through the air. Dozens and dozens of specialty cookies, custom-made for the EverBe crowd, were a sweet surprise. And as a special take-home memento, talented artists were stationed throughout the event to create charming cartoon sketches of families and friends.
The event was thrilled to host “Ears on EverBe.” Two budding broadcasters, siblings who are among the first families to move into their new homes at EverBe, produce this hyper-local podcast. The show features chats with neighbors and spotlights the community’s hidden gems. Current and future residents will certainly be tuning in regularly for more episodes!
Of course, EverBe didn’t forget about the grown-ups, serving two signature drinks to keep them refreshed. The Ever-Rita and Coral Kiss will surely make return appearances at future neighborhood events!
